Wanting.

Wanting was one of the visions I had while I was on Ayahuasca deep down in the jungle of Peru. I was viewing this massive unending ocean of hands reaching out for anything and everything. Some sort of vision of over crowding, endless need of the human population, till all that's left is just them perhaps and they are still in want. I made the drawing by first making several drawings of my own hands in various positions and then duplicated them at different sizes and reversed, copied and traced them out onto the paper.  It's a combination of graphite, charcoal acrylic and glow in the dark pigment used to make the sky.
