Floating Life Mass#1

This digitally manipulated image  is a preliminary sketch for the Meaning of Life as a Planetary Form, one of the visions I had while on Ayahuasca. I fed some images of naked human figures into one of the early renditions of an image generator called Deep Dream AI.  It's basically a failed program that was developed as facial recognition software from 2015. When images are uploaded to it, they take on animalistic characteristics. I then went back into the image with acrylic paint to try to find the image I was looking for.

I'm not interested in using AI to generate images. That's what brains are for. I'm more interested in its failures.
