The fourth print in this series was layered over the lace pattern in sky blue. Only the Buddha’s oura remains- a spiraling rainbow created through what printmakers call a “bleed print”, often considered a happy accident, when excess ink passes through the screen. In this moment, the Buddha dissolves into full enlightenment, guarded by dragons of fire and light.
